Dr Nic Hayward visited the National Veterinary Hospital in Thimpu, Bhutan in the spring of 2019. Clinical veterinarians working throughout the Districts of Bhutan came together for a week of CPD based on veterinary diagnostic imaging. The week included lectures, practical ultrasound sessions, and participatory workshops, involving this highly motivated and enthusiastic group of veterinary surgeons.

This week of learning would not have been possible without the support of IMV Imaging, who kindly provided ultrasound machines that were invaluable in the wetlab sessions. Thanks also to the British Small Animal Veterinary Association for their kind donation of a collection of manuals on various aspects of clinical veterinary medicine.
